I've only been Assistant Branch Manager for one year. Prior to that, I worked on the field for 9 years. So, YES I've seen it all. It is May 2020 as you all know we are in a worldwide Pandemic. Yakult U.S.A. Senior Management has shown commitment to all employees. They have allowed many of us to be safer at home. For those working on site, Yakult U.S.A. has put their safety first. I have calls daily from employees expressing their gratitude for our Senior Management. Yakult U.S.A. has finally shown thier true colors, Red, White, and Blue. They Care for us. Working for this company has been the most amazing experience I have had in my 27 years of employment.

No work or life balance. Hours are strictly from 9AM to 6PM and they won't bend it, not for anyone or anything. It's ridiculous.
Company culture is pretty non-existent. The office is dead quiet. I feel like I'm working with zombies.

The CFO is the worst and is borderline abusive to everyone underneath him. He only speaks Japanese to the other managers so if the only language you know is English best of luck. The other managers have no backbone!

Was in a management role. screamed at constantly that I was a liar and disrespected by the CFO. The California labor board should be involved in an investigation of bullying and consistent harassment that continues over the last 10 years. There is a blatant disrespect for our culture, how to treat employees, constructive discharge and entrapment that exists. The CFO was also in charge of the Mexico manufacturing plan before he moved to CA to run the local sales /business office.

The benefits are good if you do not have a family. Holidays and PTO are average. Company matches 401k up to 3%. Insurance includes PPO option.

The management at Yakult is awful. The CFO dictates how the company is run and he is the most ignorant person you will ever find. The micromanaging is to the point of making Yakult a toxic place to work. New employees come in excited to work for a company with Yakult's reputation in probiotics, but within a few months are just as anxious to find new employment as everyone else. Wages are very low for the industry. Working here takes great people and makes them miserable and frustrated all the time.
