The pay & benefits were great. There is a lot of nepotism. Policies were insane & there was a lot of ambiguity regarding who followed policy. HR deals with issues by not hearing you out completely, telling you their version of what happened, or answering questions with a topic way out in left field. Anything you have gone to HR with will spread thru the company like wildfire.with

Former Driver out of Albany NY First 3 months not bad and I thought I hit the retirement job. The shuttle driver told me when I started don’t trust shuttle drivers they are spy’s and Rats to get brownie points. Well he was right on that because he was the one doing it.They have the most confusing rules and sometimes one Contradicts the other. Like the appearance policy have to have 2 people in shop at all times to clean. Ok then the transportation manager comes and yells at one driver while the other is on vacation. A good way to single out a newer guy to take the blame. Another example of this crack pot company- I was venting one day it was a Busy dayand the RAT BOY ran back and told the manager what I said. The manager could of taken what was said as resigning from a 3rd person. What the??? So
The morale is if you work here and brown nose and maybe you might get a leadership roll but most like not because your not in CT I can see where it use to be a good job but they come out with the most half backwards policy and procedures it’s crazy just because something looks good on paper means it’s enjoyable to do. This place NEEDS TO UNIONIZE is the rest of the workers has the guts to get a union in their. It’s the only chance they have! I definitely fore see a revolving door for drivers and I here the warehouse is already there My 1 year experience with Yarde Metals is avoide it at all costs They fired me today because the team leader/shuttle driver got my face and I held my ground l I didn’t yell he got loud not me ! well I got fired today and going back to construction Monday back to Journeyman better pay and definitely better culture.

Original owners knew the employees were the backbone of the company. Owners kids took over. Everything changed. Experience didn’t matter anymore. Reason and common sense didn’t matter.
The old team was replaced with the new inexperienced one. What was once a thriving business and fun experience to be a part of was now changed to daily chaos and people who were not interested in being there.bbein
