Feels like you are back in Highschool. Good company but poor management. micromanaging is at whole other level

Outside departments are the ones who motivate you and push you through to work harder.

Negative environment, poor management, poor communication, favoritism, micromanaging, demanding, not understanding, unpleasant. It feels like you are back in Highschool.
We are all adults and as a professional business that they are it is easy to say that everyone is grown enough to know they have to be responsible with their job/work. People should not be micromanaged, if an employee is not working up to your standards you provide a fair warning and if that doesn’t work fire them. Everyone should be responsible with their job. As a professional myself I know that in order to be employed with any type of business there are guidelines and rules that must be followed if I want to keep my job, but there is a big difference between doing your job and micromanaging.

Learn to let your employees take lead. Allow them to take responsibility, trust your employees even during difficult times. They may be there because they truly want to be there but no adult wants to be treated unfairly or for someone to be on top of them. That makes any job unpleasant and stressful. Most definitely a job not fit for everyone. Work on that and on your organization and management skills. If you do that believe me you will have a supportive, welcoming, loving and hard working department. The energy you give your employees will reciprocate and be passed on even to the callers. Everyone benefits and it’s a win win for all. Just an small advise from my experience and management jobs.
