Hands on experience with networks of all shapes and sizes, and with customers in many different fields with different telephony needs. Huge satisfaction from knowing that our work provides essential tools for healthcare, manufacturing, food services, etc.

Plenty of work to be done and it's hard to stop at the end of the day. Benefits aren't top notch, but great for a small business.

A good company, who lost their flame.

Currently, the best thing about this company is the snacks they buy every couple of weeks or so. In the past, there was way more to be happy about. Good team engagement, understanding of what your job is, cross department respect, no cliques, strong and proud management. None of this exists anymore.

Disorganized. Departments constantly fighting each other. No respect. Management of the tech support team is abysmal, never present, and doesn't appear to care about the employees. Now, it's less about the employees and more about changing everything possible.

Stop trying to intermix Care and Support. Give us a new building. Start caring about the employee voice again. Stop trying to write people up for anything and everything. Find new ways to engage your employees. Positive reinforcement over negative reinforcement. Actually be at your desk. Open your eyes and see how much people hate it there.

The culture at Yiptel is amazing! We work hard and have fun while doing it. I have worked for Yiptel for less than a year, and in that time I have been welcomed, taught, mentored, promoted, and given every opportunity to stretch my potential to the fullest. Yiptel has real values that they actually strive to "live" by. These are not aspirations, they are an everyday focus. I have never worked for a company that took my feedback and ideas so seriously. It is very motivating for me to be challenged and to feel valued. Yiptel provides both opportunities for growth and a culture with values that align with what I believe. I love working at Yiptel!

The expectations at Yiptel are very high, and not always well communicated. If you work well with little direction and take the initiative you will be successful at Yiptel. However if you require hand holding, or babysitting, YipTel isn't for you. Yiptel is growing right now, and with growth comes a lot of changes. This constant flux of "new" can create some uncertainty in terms of process and procedure. Growth and change also create a lot of opportunities so it's a balanced trade off in my opinion.

In times of growth feedback is essential. A clear end goal and milestones demarcating the path help employees understand and cope with the chaos of growth and change. Transparency and consistency within an organization gives employees something solid to ground themselves. An employee in such an organization will spend less time speculating about their future, and the organizations future and more time working toward a shared goal.

They're willing to give you the pay that you're truly worth. Only company I've seen that will work with you on the pay you think you deserve. That's the ONLY reason they're getting two stars from me.
|
Their customers practically run the company. There are a few customers that they're desperate to retain and as such let the customer rail on their employees saying some VERY very nasty things. No employee deserves that, and they don't care (The CEO Specifically). Fellow employees also seem to not care about their other employees... So much drama... we're not 16 anymore.
No room for advancement really...

LISTEN to your employees concerns. There's a reason your company has not grown in the past 30-40 years. Your product is mediocre and your employees suffer. Literally the only good thing about you is pay. Please be more concerned for those you work with, and don't walk all over your fellow employees, nor let your customers have so much power. I've worked for companies over the years that have been only 3-4 year old companies but have 10-20 times (or more than!) the amount of customers and employees. Your company is nearly half a century old and it hardly has more than 20 employees... For a reason. You should think about that, and seriously change your ways.
