private:yjtsolutions https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=303568 May 3rd, 2021 12:00AM Open Open entara Engineer Best culture I've ever worked in; Best people I've ever worked with Entara is on a roll. It keeps getting better and better. Finally I had to write a review. There is a lot of emphasis on the core values and the fundamentals that go with it. In most places I would think this is cheesy, but at Entara it's part of life. I've never been one for the soft stuff, but it is making us better. It's making me better, anyway. I am growing personally and professionally more than I ever dreamed I could. There are multiple lines of business at Entara, and in every one of them we are known for excellence. It feels good to be on the winning team. There is pride in who we are and in how good we are. Some people say that you are expected to work long hours, but that's taken out of context. This company is flexible, and I've never known of a PTO request that got denied. Also, I can take off an afternoon or morning when I need to. I just work it out with my supervisor. Of course there is a lot of work. That's why we call it work. Also, if there wasn't a lot of work, we wouldn't have jobs. I have a healthy work life balance. When I read some of these reviews, it sounds as if we are told to work a ton of hours, and that is not true. At least for me. I enjoy what I'm doing. Some of the extra hours I put in are voluntary because I want to learn. I would do that wherever I worked most likely. Don't let those reviews scare you off. This is the best place I've ever worked and the people are the best I've ever worked with. Plus, I get to work from home, which I love. If you get a job offer, which is hard to do, take it. Hard to keep up with everything happening. We now have a live weekly News Show, which is pretty funny and light hearted. But half the time it is news to me. We are getting new clients and new employees, and I am learning about it on the show. There is a lot happening as well on the security team, and I'd like to know more about what they are doing. It is fast paced, so it's not a con for me, but it would be for a lot of people. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open Train middle management more. Great company culture, work is interesting and engaging. Company events given the remote world are still very fun. You work hard. private:yjtsolutions https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=303568 Dec 18th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open entara Systems Engineer Lots of Opportunities - Growing and expanding company - Great culture Company culture - and specifically the people that you work with. Entara strives to hire on a culture fit as much as anything else. And what that has yielded is a team of very smart people who are always willing to jump in and help out. I have such a high level of respect for all of my peers. You will form lasting friendships and bonds with your coworkers here. This may sound over-the-top, but it is the absolute truth. I've met some of my best friends through this company. Positive reinforcement - We are actively encouraged to share praise, and you will often see managers and team members thanking each other in our company-wide Teams channel. Growth opportunity - Entara is a company that is growing, and we are branching out into other business areas - specifically security and breach remediation. We also have a professional services department that works on implementing new servers/networks/software/etc... for our clients, and a managed services department that handles user requests as well as management of systems and networks on a day-to-day basis. Team members are frequently given the opportunity to move to different teams if they are interested in learning another type of work. Rapid exposure to a variety of technologies - building on what I wrote above, the managed services environment is unique in that you will get to see and work on environments from small single-office environments to large enterprise-class environments and all of the technology in between. You won't get this exposure in an internal IT role. However, that means you must always be learning, and must always be ready for the "trial by fire" so to speak. You will be thrust into an element that you aren't familiar with at some point. As long as you're resourceful and able to learn on-the-fly, you'll do fine. Senior engineers and other coworkers are always willing to lend a hand if you get stuck on something. There is a very strong team spirit / camaraderie. Dedication to employees - One thing that I've found to be unique about Entara is the consistent dedication to the overall wellness of employees. We have an optional wellness program that employees can participate in where they are given access to an expert on health, diet and exercise. We regularly have open meetings to discuss any questions and topics on how to be well. We are also given access to a financial planner who can help you manage your own personal finances. Have questions about managing debt? Creating a budget? Or how best to set up accounts for your retirement? You've got it. The health insurance is pretty good. It is a high deductible w/ HSA plan, but I think its fair based on the current landscape. "Flexible" PTO - Used to be called unlimited, but they renamed it to clear up any confusion. It isn't unlimited so much as "reasonable requests will be approved where possible." You don't accrue PTO, but instead you are encouraged to take time off when and how it is appropriate. I've never had a PTO request denied - so long as you're putting the work in, and the request is reasonable. If you need a few days, request it. If you need a week, request it. If you need two weeks, request it - your manager will discuss with you if they have any concerns, but again, as long as you're being reasonable, there's a good chance it'll get approved. I've seen a number of coworkers take longer vacations so they could travel with their families. Again, this goes back to the company doing their best to support wellness, but it is up to the employee to make sure they're taking advantage of all of these offerings. High expectations - your experience with this element of the business may vary. Team members are expected to perform highly and consistently. This isn't to say that there is no room for error, but slackers are not tolerated. Usually these people are filtered out in the hiring process though. Once you're hired, you will be given a consistent workload - you will never have time to sit around and browse the internet. Unfortunately, this also sometimes means that people feel overburdened. Managers do their best to balance workload, but sometimes there's just a lot to do. I feel like we are constantly hiring right now - there's so many new names and faces that I can't keep up. That to me is an indication that the company is growing and that management understands that we need more people to support the amount of work we have. On-Call & Off hours work - this one is just a fact of life when it comes to IT work, especially when it comes to supporting dozens of client environments. Again, management is actively working to reduce this burden where they can. Constant change - honestly, you can look at this as a pro or a con. I put it in this column because it requires employees to be constantly adapting and that can be quite taxing depending on the scenario. The company strives to be agile, but sometimes the direction that the company is going changes from quarter to quarter. The CEO has a strong vision, but new information and opportunities can cause that vision to change quickly. I would say this part of it is the "how do we get there" element of the vision. However, the overall "where we are going" vision for the company remains generally the same: excellence, leadership in the market, and continued growth. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 2.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open I'm pretty satisfied with my day-to-day work, expectations, and managers. While I know others have had different experiences, I feel that my workload is reasonable and manageable, it is work that interests me, and I'm well regarded by my managers and peers. I'm happy to continue to contribute to this team. I think management is always trying to do the right things, even when they miss the mark sometimes. However, when they miss the mark, they usually try to correct it very quickly. When they believe something isn't working, they'll change it or try to find a way to make it work. The company periodically surveys employees (sometimes anonymously, sometimes not) and encourages feedback. They take those survey responses seriously, and I've seen multiple internal initiatives come from employee feedback over the years - including one for a while where the CEO would individually meet with small groups of employees to directly have conversations about how they would improve the company. EVERY employee was eventually included when she did this. She really wanted to know what was going on in the trenches. The company is larger now, but there is still an attitude that if you provide constructive feedback, it will be taken seriously. I don't have any particular advice to management right now other than to keep up the work that they're doing. This isn't to say that they're perfect - nobody is. But in general I think they're making the right decisions for the good of the company and employees, and I'm thankful for that. To those looking at the older reviews of the company - yes, the company went through some very rough growing pains. There was too much work and a lot of turnover for a while including in management roles. There were periods of time where I wasn't certain that the company would make it - those fears are well behind me now. The company has improved immensely over the last couple of years. Management has solidified on some really great people, processes are constantly improving and our client satisfaction has never been better. I would even go so far as to say employee satisfaction has been on a constant up-tick. The company did an internal survey on job satisfaction and released the results. The most recent survey did have some complaints per-usual, but the overall ratings improved quite a bit from the previous surveys, and were generally in the "good to very good" category. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off - but do understand where they were coming from. I respect their sentiments and frustrations, and can even agree with some of their points based on the times they were posted. There are some fair complaints in there and some unfair. Those were unique and unfortunate situations and in some cases they were unavoidable. Also recognize that the severely negative reviews are typically from a couple years ago. What I would say is those experiences are not likely to be your experience, nor are they what I would consider the "norm" by any means. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 May 12th, 2021 10:13PM May 12th, 2021 10:13PM YJT Solutions Financials General Financial

In the last year Entara has hired a free wellness coach and a free financial advisor for its employees. After covid, we started a culture committee to ensure the experience of working remotely for Entara was smooth and enjoyable. - Entara has a "fit over skill" hiring policy; if you are a great fit for the team but don't have the exact skill for a job opening, they will still hire you as their focus is to hire the best people. Great people will get great work done. Because of this policy, you are working with a team of super intelligent and normal (!) people you respect. - At Entara, we don't waste years talking about parts of our company that are inefficient and aspire for change. We don't complain to a void. You are encouraged to constantly provide feedback, your feedback is heard, understood and actioned. The Entara I work at today is a better, more grown version of the Entara I was working at a year ago. - This is a company that adapts and survives. We adjusted to full remote so easily that even our Leadership Team was surprised. Entara is here to stay and grow. Overall this is a great company to work for both for your professional and personal growth. - People are very excitable; so when there is a new big project people are excited about, you might find yourself having to remind your team that we still have to finish the project we were already working on. - After covid, it seems the company is going to stay remote for the foreseeable future. If you are counting the days until you can work in an office or are not productive working from home, this will not be a good fit. - If you don't believe in company culture initiatives like core values, culture committee discussions and team building programs etc. this culture will not be good fit for you. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 1.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 May 12th, 2021 10:13PM May 12th, 2021 10:13PM YJT Solutions Financials General Financial

It is a pleasure to work with the people on my team as well as the rest of the company. We just had our first fully remote state of the company meeting and the leadership team made sure it was not only informative but entertaining. We run our company on something called EOS - we get more things done in 90 days than the last company I worked at did in a year. We work very HARD but we all do - this isn't a place for people who don't strive to be the best. We are fully remote now and I love that my commute is only a few steps versus the 45 minutes I previously used to do twice a day. We work HARD - yep that is both a pro and a con. I will say that I am thankful to still be working hard in this new COVID world - we are deemed essential as we manage our clients IT environments - we can't let up as our clients are counting on us. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open Continue to work on WFH next steps. The focus we take towards every client interaction is also displayed internally. The teammates here are fantastic. You know that they have your back and in turn, you will have theirs when it's one of those crazy days, full of fires. The CEO recently took the time to individually call each Entara team member to ensure that we were okay during this COVID crisis. The concern and support doesn't stop at what you're doing for Entara- it extends into those things that are personally important to each of us---family, friends, hobbies, etc. The people are who make Entara great and that includes our awesome leadership! The field we work in is demanding. There is always work to do, always a mountain to climb, but that's part of the challenge that most of us consider when coming to work for an MSP. I personally like the ability to make substantial changes in a space that is constantly evolving, but I can imagine the pace might not be for everyone. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 May 12th, 2021 10:13PM May 12th, 2021 10:13PM YJT Solutions Financials General Financial

Within a few days the amount of work done by me was being judged. I had merely started understanding how things work there. Wanted to share an experience where I was evaluated over 4 or 5 qualities by the manager . I was given an A in 2 of the qualities and B in few others. I was told C is when you’re doing bad, A is great and B is when you just need a push. I did not get a C in anyone of those evaluation indexes. I was terminated the day after the evaluation. Still fail to understand on what grounds was the decision made as it was completely opposite to the evaluation I was given. From day one I was set up for failure. In my short time I had seen more employees terminated than joined. My advice would be to make it clear to the employees that they are doing bad and not sugar coat it. Hopefully things are different now. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 1.0 May 12th, 2021 10:13PM May 12th, 2021 10:13PM YJT Solutions Financials General Financial
private:yjtsolutions https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=303568 Oct 23rd, 2018 12:00AM Open Open entara Truly A Good Thing In the time I’ve spent with Entara (formerly YJT), I can say that this company is truly willing to do whatever is necessary to provide customers with the best service and future-focused initiatives. It’s clear from the leadership team that they are not only invested in the customers receiving a resolution to issues but providing them the best resolution available. Company road-mapping, technological investments, and strategic hiring have taken place to ensure that Entara has all of the right tools at our disposal to provide this level of excellence. In addition, our command center is fabulous! This group goes the extra mile every time to make sure the client gets what they need. I’m always impressed with their dedication to customer service, even for their own coworkers. On top of that, the culture is authentic and one-of-a-kind. I’ve worked for other businesses before where the environment lacked passion and drive from all levels, or there was a false sense of comradery, doled out by management. That’s not the case here. It’s very clear that the hiring process has been centered around finding talent AND culture fits for the company, which has bred relationships that cannot be manufactured. Some of the kindest, funniest, and friendliest people work here. It’s no coincidence that my closest friends are my coworkers. There’s a range of skill level in every department, from folks who are just starting in the industry, to legacy employees, and to those who fall in between. I’ve watched many organic mentoring relationships form within these groups simply from everyone being in this diverse environment. This is an incredibly fast-paced workplace, and with one of the core values being excellence, there’s not much room for error. While this is a good thing for our customers, it’s a big hurdle to face when beginning employment. Some may see this as a drawback, others may see this as a challenge. Again because our core value is excellence, it feels like we are really particular about who is hired. While this is a great thing in the long run, it can cause the work-load to be heavy on those who are waiting for more resources. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 303568 Open Keep doing what you’re doing!
