mostly nice people to work with

the owner. someone nobody wants to be around and when we hear the back door open we all want to run away. very fun and moody. cannot interact with members because he is in a bad mood or had a bad day. has no idea how to run the store nor treat his employees. instead he pays people to sit at home on their phone and watch all the cameras that are set on in store so they can report to him when we are not CONSTANTLY cleaning. and when i say this i mean the store is clean and up to standards but "there is always something dirty" we get evaluated and we get graded each month on how we work. managers have to grade team members every night. whole place of operating is completely ridiculous. PARENTS: do not allow your teens to work here. it's a horrible environment and you get less than 10 hours a week and make 7.25. not worth it at all. you get a 10ยข raise every year. owner is selfish and has inappropriate behavior with some of the employees. every feels uncomfortable when working here because they are being watched (stalked) their entire shift. he has no role in the business and can't even train new employees. he hands them to us workers to take more time out of our shift to tell them everything they need to do! ridiculous.

They are always hiring because no one actually wants to work there and most people quit as soon as they find another job

The business owner has no idea what he is doing. He treats his own employees horribly and does not give any respect towards them. He has cameras set up everywhere and will have several people watching them. He makes comments about you to other employees behind your back (thinking that all of his comments are kept secret haha NO ) I felt like I was in middle school again because he would start so much drama. He will "grade" you on your performance like you are at middle school, and he usually fails everyone. We make 7.25 buddy seriously? Everyone does a great job working at yogurtree and everyone tries hard, the owner is never satisfied and will never be.
During the interview, the owner could no come in to meet me due to the fact that he was moody and grumpy. Are you 5? or what? Parents: please do not let your teenager work here. He discriminates against genders, race, and age. It was an awful experience and many employees can agree with that, even current one. I wish customers knew that it is not this very happy atmosphere that they might believe in, it is a very bad atmosphere behind the scenes.

Go back to preschool and learn about respect. We are working for YOU and you better start treating your employees like they matter. Many people have asked me what it is like working at yogurtree and I always tell them not to apply because of how bad you have treated everyone there!
