Great co-workers and very friendly environment. Pay seems to be above the average salaries for similar positions. Direct manager was amazing and very friendly. Always willing to take a phone call or email with any concerns or questions. Training is available regularly and they are willing to pay for it.

Sometimes would allow some customers dictate what is included in the job when a contract was signed with the exact parameters of the job. Upper management doesn't seem to listen to the field teams/onsite technicians on the timeframes of installs. Some installs are not given enough time.

Senior Management needs to listen to your onsite teams as they are in the trenches and are in the customers face on a regular basis and will get the initial complaints and concerns and will also have to be the "referee" between the onsite teams and the off site teams when there is a problem.

Yorktel works in some very interesting areas of the Unified Communications and Collaboration space. Having worked here a number of years one of the visible Pro's is management's ability to see where the future is going and pivot the firm to take advantage of these new growth areas. We've seen that in the recent initiatives in Teleheath and Microsoft consulting.

No place is perfect, obviously. The pace from time to time at Yorktel is a challenge to keep up with and maintain.
