You honestly meet some pretty cool people working here. Catered lunch is a huge plus. They give amazing benefits.

Wow, where to even begin? This company is a joke. The managers really have no clue what they are doing. Developers are overworked, constantly yelled at and have to wear multiple hats. Why? Because they still say they are a start up yet they have been around for years. They cannot find their footing in the space they are in and constantly ride the coattails of more successful companies. Customer service is the company punching bag as they are usually the scapegoat for all issues. "Managers" have zero to no real management skills as CEO is rarely seen. CTO runs around like he manages the company while countering each other. Magic eight ball says outlook bad.

Good culture in certain areas of the department. Snacks, though you lack the management in this. Employee benefits. Catered lunches.

A CTO that is trying to replace the CEO. To put it into perspective, a great project manager that was making the company transparent left because the CTO could not learn how to play nice. There is no direction and no one to lead them. Many people have tired to paint a picture for the C-level, but they are stubborn and do not care to grow the company within. Employees have tried to explain and clarify issues, but there is no voice here. The voice comes from the CTO. CTO, stick to your job and manage your team. Learn to focus on your role and nothing else. CEO, listen to your people. The reason they bother you so much is because they care. If nobody cared they would have been long gone by now. Be the project manager, be the leader that the company needs because your CTO is poisoning the company. You have a team that cares, put it to use.

Put the CTO in his place and get a project manager. Listen to your customer support team. The old excuse of "well it's only a small portion of them" is BS. If only a small portion contact you about issues then why have a customer support team?

Poorly managed and shrinking. CEO and CTO are clueless about the future.

The junior and mid-level employees are great to hang around with.
Customer support staff and sales are a very talented group.

Poor technology stack. Both Apple and Google see ZERO value in their service.
Very poorly managed. The CTO doesn't come to work half the time. The CEO lives in Malibu and just visits a couple times a week.
They are basically living on borrowed money. Have never had a profitable quarter (except 1) in 7 years.
Most employees just come to work for the paycheck. Zero passion for the product.
