I really like the companies Feedback culture and that the company tries to be 100% transparent.
But as it is a small company it would recommend that also the managing directors welcome the new employees personally and not just the superior (just as a tip).

When I started the company was disorganised, without clear goals, and internally conflicted. A lot has changed since.
+ Mostly Terrific colleagues
+ A very open environment to discuss, argue (healthily), and impact decisions
+ A lot of individual responsibility across departments if you can handle it
+ Everyone's opinion matters and is heard
+ A product that you can really get involved with and see its global impact
+ A feel-good feeling knowing you're impacting the internet
+ C-level team that's open to being challenged in order for the best argument to win
+ Relaxed working hours as long as you get your work done
+ Open-mindedness from most colleagues

- Processes can get slow sometimes
- Tendency for a few bottlenecks
- Missing resources in the engineering dept. makes it challenging to change quickly

Filling up open positions takes time. But this is not necessarily specific to ZenMate, since its extremely hard to find the right people in the current market. And i know HR is doing all she can to fill the open positions as fast as possible.
