The management went SEVERELY downhill in 2023. No one knew what they were doing and referred it as “building a plane while flying it”. Metrics and workflow changes every few weeks for over a year (not even an exaggeration-it changed that often). Yet management expected employees to exceed unrealistic metrics every time they changed. We never had any time to adjust to the new metrics before they decided to change them AGAIN. It was so discouraging and took a toll on everyone’s mental health that most everyone just started giving up. I’ve never seen such a high turn over rate-with a mix of people leaving to getting fired for not meeting unattainable metrics. It seems like that was management’s plan-to try to get people to quit because they didn’t work on rehiring…I was told they went from around 20+ OSMS to less than 5 in a matter of months, yet management thought they weren’t the problem. Constantly pointed fingers at the employees for not going above and beyond. One of the most toxic work environments I’ve ever been in.

Realize the issue isn’t the “workflow” or the employees work ethics-honestly the issue is the business model. Clients were unfairly charged and Zocdoc would just turn a blind eye. No wonder there is were so many churn requests… yet management thinks by changing a few wordings on the script will keep doctor’s happy??

Some clinics get really excited about your visit and are very kind. After a few sessions you can really get in a groove and have a standard mental checklist. Nice way to fill in unbooked hours as a freelance creative.

Some doctors/medical professionals do not respect your time and can be condescending. Like most gig work, the pay doesn't add up to much.

This place went downhill. I started two years and during that first couple of months it was nice, flexible and had a good staff. Recently a LOT of good leaders left and they made too many changes. This is a CALL CENTER position. Since so many people left, queues have been awful and there are little to no chance of breathing. You are chained to your desk. Your day is scheduled to a tee even the breaks you take and if you go over the allotted time you will get in trouble. If you take breaks your manager will reprimand you, if you don’t upsell products your manager will reprimand you. People lie about outages to avoid taking calls, I’ve seen others turn off their mics to avoid taking calls or being next in the queues. Team leads who are not diverse at all have favorites and will put them off the phones. There are no opportunities to move up. They got rid of any promotions beyond a “senior” which is just the same call center duties. You start at $19/hr and after two years it went to $21.93 despite being a top performer and it was only due to “market increase”. There are no remote benefits. You don’t make a livable wage unless you are working overtime and will get no recognition. Team leads hate doing their jobs and will let providers scream at the employees without support. Counting the days until I find a new position. This place drains my mental health and I can’t wait to leave.
