Great people outwith the management team. - Company has no direction - extremely poor leadership means no one knows what's going on, least of all management - Cross-company communication is non-existent - Different departments rarely talk to each other - The Board is stuck in the 90s - Toxic atmosphere in the office - a 'startup vibe' this has not, with staff stressed and demotivated - No transparency - Poor management decisions have already led to redundancies - not good news at such an early stage in 'growth' - High employee churn - No on-boarding for new staff - you're left to get on with it - Several poor hiring decisions have led to a significant fall in employee morale - Most staff appear to be looking for new opportunities elsewhere -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 1589267 Open When all is said and done, the buck stops with the CEO. This company had the chance to be something that smart people would want to be a part of, but instead poor business decisions (Board, anyone?) have led to a collapse in morale and motivation. Management MUST be aware of this, but they continue to bury their collective heads in the sand (or sit in the corner with their headphones on/spend the day shoppingon Amazon) and ignore how desperately unhappy their staff are. Recent redundancies - one or two of which made no sense at all - have only added to this misery that permeates throughout the office. Love the teamwork and comradery, and the option to use the newest tech. Cybersecurity is a fascinating and rapidly growing field and it is great to be one of the UK's fastest growing names in the area. I felt both challenged and supported during my internship and I am glad to continue employment during my final year of university. The company highly value personal development with an emphasis on positive corporate culture. The staff are great and enjoy working hard but also having fun. As it is my first job in the IT industry, I don't have much experience to draw comparison from.
