This company is easily one of the best companies I have worked for, with that in mind, I've worked for Visa, Capital One, some other big companies and some other small companies and none of them can compare to Zubie, whether it be valuing their employee, showing recognition when deserved, or even simply ensuring that their employee's are included in as much as possible.

My experience working as a developer in the Minneapolis office has been very positive.
* Management is transparent, cares about customers and employees, and is easy to work with
* Very flexible work environment with good work/life balance
* Other employees are skilled and engaged in the work; there's no dead weight
* I definitely feel empowered to influence the direction of the product and make improvements
* It's safe to speak up and ask tough questions
* Compensation and benefits are competitive (I'll specifically say that I was nervous about the "unlimited vacation" policy when I started because I'd seen them used as tools to create peer pressure to take little time off work. I haven't seen any of that here.)
* I honestly think the product is pretty good (especially compared to the competition) and solves real problems for businesses

* Lack of diversity (though at least management is aware of this and looking to improve)
* We've shifted focus to different markets a few times, though that isn't unusual for a young company

I love it here. It's a fun/flexible work environment, the staff is small and tight-nit, and we're selling a product that's genuinely interesting. A few other reviews mention this, but I love being able to have a voice in the company here. It's not like a fortune 500 company where you never interact with leadership and everything is compartmentalized. We all collaborate across different departments and have direct access to the executives.

The company made some sub-par hires on the sales team that didn't work out last year, which was a frustrating experience for all of us. But, we've reorganized and the team is kicking A and taking names these days.
There's also some construction next door which is annoying :/

Zubie does offer a good amount of flexibility, work hours, and if you’re lucky some good commission

Be careful working at Zubie. They try to attract some good, young talent with ping pong and drinking in the office, but that gets old fast. Blatantly blaming sales members for not doing their job correctly when you are not encouraged to run your own sales plays. There were huge marketing issues when I was there. It seems as if sense Zubie has created a partnership with a big car rental agency (public knowledge). Don’t let this fool you as this in no way effects the commission you will be making. The product is really poor, and in this day and age a gps tracker for you vehicle will be outdated in a matter of time. I had customers just confused as to why they would pay for a product that didn’t offer them any benefits and was highly unreliable. I reach out personally to members of the team in higher positions to me to address the problem but it seemed as if a poor product is something that they would like to milk for every dollar they are making. The code to get Zubie running is something I could have personally written as a college project and probably still have only gotten a B. It is sup par and embarrassing to sell. Beware, I wish I could leave my email so I could urge you and beg you not to waste your time with such a toxic company. Good luck!
