Interview process was extremely lengthy and took about a month and a half from application to employment. Getting setup in the company and meeting the team went smooth but as soon as you are in for a few weeks, the friendliness drops dramatically. They add in lots of on-call hours even on your days off so there's minimal work-life balance. Management seems to set expectations for you but keeps that to themselves so it's pretty easy to lose your job at a moment's notice. There's no leniency for mistakes. Software I was supporting was outdated and there's little to no documentation internally or externally to support the product. Team didn't like answering any questions on how to do the job and expected previous tickets to be their answers to all future questions. Best I can say is that they were willing to match my salary expectations and benefits kicked in right away. And their HR team is near impossible to get a hold of for any questions once you get in the door. Expect an answer in the next week or two, if anything. My advice: Stay clear of any software companies under the Jonas Software brand. Though it is a big company, they do a great job at keeping true to their culture. The managers really encourage growth and give you all the tools you need to succeed. The experience can vary from one Business to another, but from personal experience, the corporate is great!
