No training, no loyalty, no advancement

Element Fleet Management is a poorly run, image obsessed corporation who puts out a poor product and doesn’t care as long as their bottom line isn’t affected. There is very little in the way of training, and when you get out onto the floor, you are shamed for asking too many questions by your supervisors and peers. There is a high level of disorganization and misinformation, in addition to American temps and permanent employees alike having to essentially audit for extremely poor quality work done by an outsourced firm in India, for whom there appears to be no accountability. If you happen to miss one of their errors and are caught doing so, however, you are held accountable, although there is so little feedback about how you’re doing, where you need to improve and what opportunities are available to you for growth within the company, that this is rarely a concern.
Hiring for full time positions as well as promotions within the company seem to be largely based on nepotism. Virtually everyone who was able to stay in the company and advance was able to do so because they were related or married to someone higher ranking in the company. Plus, the rate of turnover is extremely high, and you really can’t count on building much of a business relationship with anyone. Even those in mid-level management who seem to have a willingness to help you out and a degree of stability in their position are unable to do because of their extreme workload, which involves a lot of interfacing with clients and other departments, and very little actual management of what’s going on day to day.
I cannot understate how much Element Fleet Management damaged my excitement for working and my professional hopes and dreams. It is imperative that job seekers avoid this fi at all costs.

Expect too much work for how little you are paid
|
Loved this company when I first started. The role has progressively gotten worse. Working for the SRBU, the work has increased, they will not hire more people to help take the load off of those who are doing it and they make promises they don't keep.
You can't have thousands of items processed with just a handful of people. It doesn't work like that. Normal work shouldn't require multiple hours of OT. This isn't normal
Do not work here if you can help it. The teams that you work for don't self-serve, if you are seen as competent, you will be taken advantage of.
