HR should Investigate managers if they see a constant turnover in employees on site. A Frisco property hires a MM every 3 months. The property is not tough. After hiring 3 MM's with 10 plus yrs experience surely it's not the hire especially after manager picks them. So it must be a manager problem. MM will work there for a month or 2 and then realize it's impossible to work here. I loved BSR until I worked here with this manager. Smh.....

They definitely lie when they say they are a company that is family oriented. Because family would never treat you the way BSR treats their employees who are hardworkers, Please be aware HR is not on your side. If you have a hostile supervisor with witnesses that someone is being treated unfairly, they do not care. They will tell you to your face that even though the supervisor is creating a hostile environment they aren't going anywhere and that is just who they are. Especially if you're their favorite you can get away with murder but if you're not their favorite watch out , it's a matter of time before they make it to where you don't even want to go to work. They have a culture that is like a cult. If you don't be a yes man/women then you mine as well find other employment. They set you up to fail with no help. The expectations with the amount of paperwork is ridiculous. If you reach out to HR please understand your business will now be spread through the entire company, it is not confidential.

I've never seen a company operate like this with a straight face. I changed 7 evap coils in the 6 weeks I was there and got threatened for a write up for giving a resident a light bulb. I've seen dumb operations before but this place takes the cake. Like many places they protect hostile employees and are cool with burning people out and high turnover.

Stop spending 400 dollars wrangling managers to hash over 20 dollar variances. Don't do full paints on 3beds inhouse when you have 7 turns in a week. Don't promote hacks and retain them when they get hostile work complaints filed on them. The paperwork, man just take all the paperwork and burn the place down and start over.

BSR is more than just an employer. They greatly value their team members. I have a fantastic on site team and receive consistent support from corporate and my direct supervisor. They very much strive to promote from within and offer trainings that are thorough and helpful to everyone. I have seen numerous team members grow to supervisor roles over the years. Pay is fair and very competitive. Every team member receives the same benefits, regardless of their rank / position. The 50% rental discount is an amazing perk that allows for employees to live in luxury housing. I have worked for many property management companies and without a doubt, BSR is the most supportive and customer service based company out there. There is an obvious reason why the retention of employees for years is so high and that is because we are much more than just a number to them. Time off is approved rarely without question and everybody is given two 15 minute paid breaks every day. Maintenance is valued and supported and trusted by regionals. When people high up at corporate know your name and recognize your team's work and accomplishments, that's how you know you got lucky. BSR is great.

Basically everything. My manager was mean, vindictive, and spiteful. I reported these treacheries to HR after I left and he wasn't fired until another coworker reported. They come in with this holier than thou attitude just to pile on more work and unrealistic expectations for a mediocre property. They are all about the $$$. If you want to make $15 an hour to be verbally abused by management and residents this is the job for you. Prepare to be doing slave work for a pittance. Also prepare to be shamed when you get sick or need a day off. ALSO maintenance at this particular property is so unprofessional and was stealing appliances AND during COVID was stealing toilet paper to take home to their families.
