As with any company, they do have their issues but(as least regarding the major ones) they acknowledge their faults and attempt to improve upon them. I can’t really say that for any other company I’ve worked for. For the most part, I can’t say that any of the unfavorable aspects of my job are specific to this company. As a publicly traded company, things are constantly changing. You kind of just get used to it and keep moving along. With any Property Management (owned or 3rd party) there is always the politics element. That being said, all properties have their own micro-culture that produces success or failure. BSR does a decent job of managing them. Their benefits are world class, the training is top notch, and the review process is simple yet effective. I would heartily recommend this company to all potential employees. Benefits, work life balance, good compensation packages. Benefits are great, However management is a joke. If you dare put in a grievance about someone who upper management has a long personal history with kiss your job goodbye. Okay these people will expect you to do things that go against policy and almost always make the work environment hostile. This company tries to draw people in by the benefits but will overwork you and toss you away. Rent discount.
