The people were amazing. They were fun to work with at all times.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having month end deadlines and the process being in a certain order and having to wait for others before completing my portion of the job.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Collaborative, structured, accomodating
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
arrive early, leave early. Dailies first thing, meetings, truck ticket entry

Its a joke. they lay off people who work hard, and keep lazy friends and east coast guys on payroll.
dont work for them, the French will lay you off before you reach your 3 month probation, no matter how good or skillful you are.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great working atmosphere - systems are developed allowing everyone to know their jobs and what is expected of them. Camp is comfortable and the food is good. One of the better places to work in the Oil Sands.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Really no stress - great support and leaders
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and supportive at all levels - safety is the best I have seen in many years of working in the Oil Sands
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day is knowing what is expected of you and allowing you to do your job.

Good company, work schedule, accommodations..poor management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Wages and benefits are good but not the best medical plans….coworkers were experienced and good work schedules.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management can’t be trusted and always looking to belittle employees.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Company did very little to help employees with health issues and no help if off because of medical issues…would not follow medical professionals advice let supervisors decide the outcome return to work.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and frustrating when management wouldn’t accept your word and changes wording of documents and incident reports.

Excellent pay, pension plan and benefits. Lots of things to learn in order to keep the mind engaged and strong emphasis on safety. High paced and somewhat demanding environment that may be challenging for some but if you have a good work ethic it should not be a problem

Letting young and inexperienced people work in key positions just because they have a pinky ring.

It is a good culture, with some archaic rules that have a negative effect on the workforce.

It was go to work, perform at a very high level of decision making only to be corrected by someone with less experience.

Great pay, poor system of ranking employees against each other caused toxic work environment.

The pay was great, so I ended up staying with the company way longer than was good for my mental health. Toxic, competitive ranking system causes employees to compete with each other instead of collaborate.
A lot of gossip and cliques. Management picks favorites.
Admins expected to do tasks beyond their scope with no training.
