Position Overview
Reporting to the Accounts Receivables Manager, the Receivables Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and processing receivables from across Canada. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team while exercising proper judgement, initiative, and multi-tasking.
Responsibilities
- Distributing, verifying, processing, and reconciling daily receivables from multiple sources
- Assist in reconciliation of various clearing and bank accounts
- Liaise with Leon’s locations and multiple third-party processors
- Post accounts receivable transactions to the ledger and other month end reporting
- Prepare financial reports through excel
- Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as needed including special projects
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with effective oral and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism when dealing with client accounts
- Detail oriented while being organized and efficient
- Comfortable working with numbers in the million-dollar range
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, excel considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in finance or accounting considered an asset
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP software considered an asset
