To be successful in this role, you are a professional in a suit when required (not often) and in jeans and work boots on the ground in the fibre yard when required (often). You must be committed to visibility and having boots on the ground at all operations in a regular rotation and make it a priority to work face time into your schedule. </p>
<p>The HR Manager is a key Operational business partner, supporting the safe production of quality Renewable Energy products, on time to our customers. The HR Manager will engrain themselves, through their relationships, as a part of each site operational management team. They are an employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating operational needs and are humbly committed to the service of their stakeholders. A large focus concurrently with Operational HR is working on growth recruitment projects as we plan to triple in size in our US operations and continue our growth trajectory in the Southern United States. </p>
<p> KPI's for this true generalist role include: </p>
<ul>
<li>Engage with line management around talent as a strategy and scarce resource, empower and engage management towards spotting, developing and retaining talent who can execute our vision and strategy.</li>
<li>Partner with plant leadership on local recruitment efforts for Professional, Trades, Skilled Operators and entry level roles. </li>
<li>Ensures local relevance to all recruitment efforts across our diverse geography; develop a specific and targeted recruitment plan for each geographical region in which we operate.</li>
<li>Champion Values based recruitment efforts. Screen candidates for cultural fit and technical expertise and participate in interviews when required; assist the hiring manager in selecting the strongest, most values aligned talent for the role. </li>
<li>Develop visibility and relationships for Pinnacle through campus recruitment and marketing efforts. </li>
<li>Ensure 100% of new hires receive our cultural, values based and operational onboarding program in their first days of employment. </li>
<li>Actively maintain an effective level of literacy around our business, industry, culture and competition. </li>
<li>Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity. </li>
<li>Administer the Payroll and Benefits programs, proactively ensuring communication, compliance, education and documented processes. This will include payroll processing for a finite time frame as we grow. </li>
<li>Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. </li>
<li>Provide performance management guidance and support to management; coaching, counselling, discipline, etc.). </li>
<li>Support the Performance Management Process, education, training, support to ensure our leaders have the tools they need to foster a high performing team. </li>
<li>Implement, communicate and administer consistently company wide HR policies and procedures and monitor compliance as required. </li>
<li>Participate in a regular review of current HR policies for relevance, risk management and scope and make recommendations for continuous improvement. </li>
<li>Provide training resources throughout the company as required, develop programs and materials on target or focus areas, provide train the trainer sessions as required. </li>

<p>As the ideal candidate, you have earned a Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, HR, or related. You have 5 years of operational HR experience, have strong understanding of employment law and local legislation and compliance and you like the manufacturing environment. You are confident in your HR talents yet are known for your humility and commitment to service. You are the most passionate about relationships and committed to building trust with all business partners. You understand urgency, are anticipatory and can operate confidently without day to day direction. You have a demonstrated ability to work across functions and geographies; a background in a multi-unit organization is beneficial. You have a knack for recruiting and enjoy the marketing side of recruiting and have had success in sourcing and bringing top talent into a manufacturing environment.</p>

<p>The HR Manager is a key Operational business partner, supporting the safe production of quality Renewable Energy products, on time to our customers. The HR Manager will engrain themselves, through their relationships, as a part of each site operational management team. They are an employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating operational needs and are humbly committed to the service of their stakeholders. A large focus concurrently with Operational HR is working on growth recruitment projects as we plan to triple in size in our US operations and continue our growth trajectory in the Southern United States. </p>
<p> KPI's for this true generalist role include: </p>

<li>Engage with line management around talent as a strategy and scarce resource, empower and engage management towards spotting, developing and retaining talent who can execute our vision and strategy.</li>
<li>Partner with plant leadership on local recruitment efforts for Professional, Trades, Skilled Operators and entry level roles. </li>
<li>Ensures local relevance to all recruitment efforts across our diverse geography; develop a specific and targeted recruitment plan for each geographical region in which we operate.</li>
<li>Champion Values based recruitment efforts. Screen candidates for cultural fit and technical expertise and participate in interviews when required; assist the hiring manager in selecting the strongest, most values aligned talent for the role. </li>
<li>Develop visibility and relationships for Pinnacle through campus recruitment and marketing efforts. </li>
<li>Ensure 100% of new hires receive our cultural, values based and operational onboarding program in their first days of employment. </li>
<li>Actively maintain an effective level of literacy around our business, industry, culture and competition. </li>
<li>Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity. </li>
<li>Administer the Payroll and Benefits programs, proactively ensuring communication, compliance, education and documented processes. This will include payroll processing for a finite time frame as we grow. </li>
<li>Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. </li>

<li>Support the Performance Management Process, education, training, support to ensure our leaders have the tools they need to foster a high performing team. </li>

<p>The HR Manager is a key Operational business partner, supporting the safe production of quality Renewable Energy products, on time to our customers. The HR Manager will engrain themselves, through their relationships, as a part of each site operational management team. They are an employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating operational needs and are humbly committed to the service of their stakeholders. A large focus concurrently with Operational HR is working on growth recruitment projects as we plan to triple in size in our US operations and continue our growth trajectory in the Southern United States. </p>
<p> KPI's for this true generalist role include: </p>

<li>Engage with line management around talent as a strategy and scarce resource, empower and engage management towards spotting, developing and retaining talent who can execute our vision and strategy.</li>
<li>Partner with plant leadership on local recruitment efforts for Professional, Trades, Skilled Operators and entry level roles. </li>
<li>Ensures local relevance to all recruitment efforts across our diverse geography; develop a specific and targeted recruitment plan for each geographical region in which we operate.</li>
<li>Champion Values based recruitment efforts. Screen candidates for cultural fit and technical expertise and participate in interviews when required; assist the hiring manager in selecting the strongest, most values aligned talent for the role. </li>
<li>Develop visibility and relationships for Pinnacle through campus recruitment and marketing efforts. </li>
<li>Ensure 100% of new hires receive our cultural, values based and operational onboarding program in their first days of employment. </li>
<li>Actively maintain an effective level of literacy around our business, industry, culture and competition. </li>
<li>Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity. </li>
<li>Administer the Payroll and Benefits programs, proactively ensuring communication, compliance, education and documented processes. This will include payroll processing for a finite time frame as we grow. </li>
<li>Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. </li>
<li>Provide performance management guidance and support to management; coaching, counselling, discipline, etc.). </li>
<li>Support the Performance Management Process, education, training, support to ensure our leaders have the tools they need to foster a high performing team. </li>
<li>Implement, communicate and administer consistently company wide HR policies and procedures and monitor compliance as required. </li>
