Dysfunctional chaos and kind of liking it
|
The place is a mess. It's disorganized and nothing works properly but that makes it easy to slack off and seem productive. It's easy to blend in even doing the bare minimum. Management is so clueless they really wouldn't know if you were performing up to expectations anyway.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!! Stay away from this company
|
This company is thee worst place I ever worked they don’t care about there employees work environment is very unorganized and unprofessional they don’t care about your well being they care more about production on top of that they have rodents, machines contaminated with mold and recently they had a department contaminated with listeria and they have sanitation workers clean them and don’t inform them of the contamination I can’t believe they are still open Chicago plant needs to be shut down I’m surprised the board of health haven’t closed them down yet 15 years ago it was a good company to work for sense new ownership it’s the worst place to work for stay far away from this company don’t waste your time!!!

Are you struggling to find a job? Maybe you are a reformed felon or drug addict and need some quick cash. Blommer is the place for you and you will love interacting with your peers.
What to expect:
Working in extreme heat, 110-120 degrees, with air that is contaminated with cocoa powder and dust, sugar, chemicals you’ve never heard of, and machinery that has been around since the industrial age. Half of the people you work with won’t speak or write in English and you will be expected to pick up the slack.
Toxic leadership that has expectations which far exceed reality and the capability you can attain.
Long shifts with little breaks and no access to the outside world.
No career advancement and the educational reimbursement is an antiquated concept from 4 decades ago.
This job is just a job, if you have no other option in life and you need money asap, then apply. If you have any sort of self-respect or goals in life then run far away.
