The company has a large operation in the US Gulf Coast region.

The leaders within the organization go to great lengths to nurture and develop those who look and sound like them (You have to be in the Club). I met Kuraray's VP of Administration at Kuraray Sam Suzuki and the guy is very poor leader.
If you look different, you’ll likely plateau at a lower level position if they hire you to begin with. They have very prejudice hiring practices.
Although Kuraray talks a lot about how they value of diversity,.... racially diverse employees typically feel marginalized.
If you to to work for Kuraray you will hate going to work every day
