Pay isn't great and isn't based on performance;
Store management sometimes can be erratic with logistics and instructions, resulting in confusion among the team, making it especially hard for newcomers to gain proper training. Yet newcomers are often told off by management despite their lack of clear direction and training;
Messy shop due to poor management / visual merchandising direction and manager's lack of care for the team's workload.

Head office should pay visits to respective branches more frequently and develop a system wherein junior staff are empowered to voice issues and provide feedback. Retail staff who work on the ground every day will be able to offer the most accurate insights on customer and worker experience and hence should not be neglected or unreasonably dismissed by in-store management.
Store managements talks of advocating equality and mutual support but they don't realise that their impractical workflow and oftentimes condescending communication style actually impedes growth and demoralises the team. If they want all team members to assume equal responsibility, they should start showing them more respect and care.
