Lots of virtue signaling to show what a "good" company it is. On the outside a lot of charity work to help the needy etc. On the inside staff does not get treated very well. Know of cases where some staff were treated very unfairly.
Culture seems to be bad everywhere. In Finance, Actuary, IT, Investments etc. Actuary could be the worst. A lot of foreigners over locals since HR hiring manager is a foreigner. These local/foreigner bosses do not care about your career growth and tend to favour the foreigners because they are cheaper.

I only have advice for fresh grads/young folks. Do not waste your future with this company. Your qualifications mean nothing here when people without proper background can get in easily.

Competitive pay. Decent benefits. Generous PTO. Flex/Hybrid schedule. Most of the co-workers are great people.

Product deployment needs improvement. As soon as new products are released, new bugs are uncovered hampering your ability to underwrite effectively. Also, have to contend with some negative attitudes from some of underwriters on the team which is a complete motivation killer.
