We are looking for a Underwriter - Energy with at least 5 years London market experience to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Energy, this individual will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, under general direction, utilizing The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of higher technical complexity ensuring a high level service to customers.
Job Accountabilities
As Underwriter - Energy, your role will involve:
Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules.
Develop, maintain & collaborate with Line of Business representatives on referrals and other business-related needs, as appropriate.
Develop and maintain relationships with distributors (agents & brokers) in support of business retention and acquisition and works with customers and distributors (agents & brokers) to determine their insurance related needs and provide solutions.
Supports the sales culture by being a Help Point for agents, brokers and customers.
Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities.
Complete detailed opportunity assessment with key distributors to identify growth opportunities.
Qualify accounts to meet with the organization's appetite, balanced with sound business opportunity.
Make broker/customer and on-sight calls with a planned and well-prepared purpose.
Negotiate Terms & Conditions and close deals.
Cross-Sell other lines of business to increase product density with the account.
Participate in Sales Team meeting as related to assigned brokers and / or territory.
Proactively engage in the target account process, managing a qualified list of opportunities 90 to 120 days prior to effective date.
Update required systems with details of broker / client visits and account status within specified time frame.
Serve as key Zurich contact for assigned target accounts.
Calculate Target Price accurately by utilizing underwriting tools appropriately.
Measure exposures/analyze risk.
Quote and set coverage, negotiate terms and conditions.
Service accounts, handles declination's/cancellations.
Participate in marketing presentations to assigned agents/brokers.
Provide technical advice that enables a customer to solve a problem or improve business.
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships by meeting regularly with customers when no specific initiative is underway.
Anticipate customer needs, monitor trends in order to recommend changes.
Analyze needs, develop and recommend alternatives for improvements to processes, customer service or products.
Lead short-term (3 to 9 months) defined scope projects.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent and 5 or more years of London market experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.
Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
In-depth knowledge of line(s) of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines.
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to effectively assess risk. Required: Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing, regulations and guidelines.
Superior skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis and win-win negotiating.
Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations for assigned territories.

The Opportunity
Provides expert first level help desk support for IT issues and service requests, to internal Zurich staff and partners, delivering an excellent customer experience and high ´first call resolution´ in line with departmental service standards
The Role
As the IT Client Support Analyst in our Zurich business, you will provide customers with a high level of technical support in an efficient and friendly manner, providing Level 1 support for all in house, off the shelf business applications as well as M365 office products.
Provides expert help desk support for IT incidents, problems and service requests related to IT services. Acts as representative of IT technical services to customers.
Carries out incident triage using the appropriate documentation, resolves incident tickets and/ or fulfills service requests, passing more complex incidents and requests to support. Facilitates closure of incident ticket and service requests using the appropriate tools while meeting or exceeding defined service level expectations.
Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to incidents and Service Requests through approved channels to the Help Desk in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Records incident and problem symptoms and status information in a timely/accurate fashion using the appropriate tools in order to communicate with and properly utilize 2nd and 3rd level support resources.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge of relevant product/service offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to customers.
Must be able to provide clear, concise, information through written and verbal communications with a high customer focus
Provide Oncall After Hours support as required
Provide mentoring & coaching to team
To follow and take ownership of issues within the Problem Management Process
Your Experience
Several years of technical knowledge of Microsoft technology stacks & infrastructure. (Windows 10; Office 2016, O365), products including Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint & Onedrive
Good understanding of Citrix, Active Directory & Azure Cloud
Passion & Drive for emerging technologies that could benefit our customer base
Good understanding of PC hardware, software, mobile devices, VC equipment and all related peripherals.
Project management skills, & the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
Experience in Zurich applications an advantage
ITIL Certification is an advantage
Microsoft products certifications
IT University graduates considered
Prior experience with an Incident Management / Call Logging system. ServiceNow or similar service management platforms
Basic Project Management Methodologies
Excellent Documentation and Knowledge base skills and experience

About the role
As an IT Risk & Controls Analyst, you will provide an independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. This activity is performed in accordance with Zurich’s Internal Controls Integrated Framework (ICIF) and its implementation applies to internal controls within Zurich Financial Services Australia (ZFSA).
Working across IT, you will support in the identification, analysis, monitoring, and testing of IT application controls, automated business controls and IT general controls.
You will also support the business in the interpretation and application of relevant policies, provide guidance in their documentation and self-assessment, and assist in the provisioning of training.
Important to your success
You will have a strong risk and controls background with tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
IT risk & controls experience is essential for this role.
Insurance and/or Financial Services experience will be held in high regard, Big 4 experience will be a distinct advantage.
Professional qualifications in accountancy, finance audit, technology, such as e.g.: CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISP, CISM etc.), would be a distinct advantage.

Role
As a Corporate Lawyer or Senior Lawyer here at Zurich, you’ll be responsible for providing in-house legal, regulatory and governance advice to Zurich’s businesses in Australia. Consistent with applicable laws and regulations, you will help us enable Zurich’s businesses to achieve their strategic and commercial goals, protect and preserve company’s assets, and identify, manage and mitigate legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
The role has a strong focus on financial advice, supporting Zurich’s new life insurance advisory business through identification and strong management of governance issues and intra-group conflicts, helping compliance teams administer and optimise compliance frameworks, negotiating and documenting contracts with strategic partners, guiding complaints teams on complaints and disputes resolution, assisting with regulatory dealings and investigations.
The role also involves drafting, advising on and negotiating commercial contracts and providing clear and solution focussed legal advice on a range of matters across the Zurich group, including in the following areas:
financial services advice and distribution laws
general commercial and corporate law
data protection and privacy law
competition and consumer protection law
commercial disputes and litigation
regulatory inquiries and investigations
Important to your success
Strong experience and capabilities in financial services advice and distribution laws
General corporate and commercial law disciplines, working in a law firm or in-house position
At least four years post qualification experience across financial advice and distribution
Commercial experience working with a financial services organisation highly regarded
Experience in advising on, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (including information technology, procurement and outsourcing agreements)
Must have a solid understanding of the Corporations Act (esp. Chapter 7), insurance and superannuation law
Recognised Australian legal qualifications
Eligible to practice law in New South Wales

About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join Zurich’s Claims Division as a Senior Marine Claims Advisor.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for management of a complex portfolio of Marine claims from lodgement through to settlement and partnering with our intermediaries and service providers to exceed our service standards and deliver to our customers when it matters most.

The role
This newly available position is responsible for working within the Financial Systems team and with Finance stakeholders, you will drive the ongoing development and help maintain the various TM1 applications, particularly the Life business facilities as part of a large integration project.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Fraud Coordinator to play a key role in the delivery and execution of an anti-fraud function which has the task of identifying and investigating potentially fraudulent insurance claims.
The Role
Reporting to the National Recoveries & Investigations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key business partners, clients and brokers, and industry groups, with a focus on building a strong industry presence for Zurich and the General Insurance claims team.
Additionally, you will be required to provide customers and intermediaries with an exemplary level of claims service and claims technical management consistent with Zurich Australia’s claims value proposition.
The position has a focus on triaging new fraud referrals and determining their suitability for ongoing investigation, as well as managing a caseload of fraud investigations, up to and including high complexity and high quantum cases.
Additionally, you would participate in regular caseload meetings with the Senior Manager and Special Investigations Unit to brief them on the status of your Investigations and present your recommended strategies and current status for feedback, and also assist the Investigations Manager to analyse data relating to fraud detection within the portfolio of claims.
Your Experience
This is a fast paced and high-volume role, and the successful candidate must have proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high quality results.
• You will have experience in the insurance industry as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an investigations capacity

Job Summary
Zurich Workplace Solutions is a start-up entity implementing End of Service Benefits in the region. A small multiskilled team today manages the DEWS Plan for DIFC in Dubai covering over 1400+ companies with over $290m of AuA.
As the organization moves from ‘start-up’ mode into ‘scale-up’, the team needs to be multi-skilled to be able to take on a number of varied tasks and responsibilities. We are looking for a flexible individual who has a strong will to achieve high targets whilst adhering to customer support policy and standards.

This individual will be expected to be the point of contact for customers to identify relevant products, processes and procedures, provide a market leading service to customers/brokers/distributors/colleagues and retain excellent customer relationships.
Job Accountabilities
As Service Consultant, you are expected to:
• Meet customer requirements through processing a range of tasks encompassing the full product range.
• Identify, build and maintain excellent customer relationships and loyalty through processing a range of tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of relevant systems, products, processes and procedures to aid delivery of a first class service to our customers.
• Takes personal responsibility for resolving customers concerns.
• Work collaboratively across all Operational areas.
• Demonstrate a flexible and co-operative approach towards changing business needs.
• Professional and accountable for all their actions.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of customer service processes and systems to manager and colleagues.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
UAE National with Family Book
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or of equivalent certifications.
2 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry.
Must have strong Arabic and English communication skills.
Relevant experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations whilst adhering to customer support policy and standards.
Strong will to achieve high targets and take forward continuous improvement opportunities.
High Accuracy and Attention to detail.

Reporting to the Head of Operations Performance, the Regulatory Reporting Analyst is expected to monitor adherence to operational performance frameworks in order to ensure operational areas remain compliant with corporate, regulatory and legislative requirements to which the organization is expected to operate.
Job Accountabilities
As Regulatory Reporting Analyst, your role will involve:
Demonstrate knowledge of relevant systems, processes and procedures.
Resolve issues and develop procedure and seek ways to improve them.
Maintain accurate and appropriate records; producing timely management information to the agreed levels of quality.
Demonstrate clear adherence to principles and attend all training and development courses required to ensure a high degree of workplace knowledge of processes and systems.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
UAE National with Family Book
Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in related filed
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy and Attention to detail
Analytical and Critical Thinking

Familiar with Insurance Legal & Regulatory Environment
