The company's apparent lack of action when it comes to addressing issues related to toxicity is really concerning.
Despite the company's outward commitment to safeguarding its employees, the reality on the ground suggests otherwise. The prevalence of toxic managerial behavior has not only led to burnouts but has also created dangerous situations and contributed to mental health issues among the workforce.
What is particularly disheartening is the seeming lack of initiative to rectify these issues, especially in light of the increased scrutiny faced by the gaming industry in the 2020s for mistreating employees. It is alarming that, despite the heightened awareness and conversations around employee welfare, nothing substantial has been done within the company to address this.
Some of the behaviors exhibited by certain executive leadership are not only unacceptable but could also be construed as dangerous. It is essential for the company to acknowledge and rectify these situations promptly to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
It's concerning to know that as an employee, you will not be protected, on the contrary. Really scary.
