International company but unstable situation

Although the official language in the company is English but most of employee are German or able to speak German fluently. The reason for that is ImmoScout is originally a native company and just transformed into international recently as they need high quality human resource in Data.
|
Unstable situation as a lot restructures happen. During the time I work here, there was 3 wave of layoff. In addition, there's also changes in high level management.

"zu viele Köche"-Syndrom, zum Ziel ginge es oft effizienter und mit höherer Qualität, wären nicht immer gleich mind. 10 Leute selbst bei kleinsten Aufgaben involviert. Führt leider zu Rang-Kämpfen, ständigem Hinterfragen von getroffenen und kommunizierten Führungsentscheidungen und letztlich unnötig langen Entwicklungszeiten. Damit lernt man zwar schnell umzugehen, aber dadurch werden wichtige Potentiale liegen gelassen.

More accountability on C level management and not blaming the subordinates. Very political environment between sales, product and hr. A lot of self interest. Not company interest. There are also competency questions of whether people have the right past industry experience to run programs and departments they have been “gifted”.
Needs some hard calls made on the right C-level setup. The company (and shareholders) are suffering based on the current setup.
