Uncomfortable workplace with no benefit for employees
|
Work is stressful because mamagement is not well-organized , there are constant delays and many unrealistic plannings are involved increasing the wok load and stress...colleagues are not cooperative and not helpful...very poor company culture...people are being yelled at, international people are not welcomed, no room to develop your career, salaries are much lower compared to other companies in the region, you have to even work 20 hours more each month, for which you are not paid!!! Management and the company only care about making more money and do not care about the culture and the individuals working for them
Location in sternenfels is in the middle of nowhere...no big cities around

Good company, but Germany owned and based. All production work at our division was sent to Germany, but it was a good place to work up to to that point.

Personnel and management listens to gossiping back stabbers and will let you go without fairly asking your side of an issue. I was hired for a new project involving parts listing and changes to parts within ERP system. My co- worker another temp person would sit and sleep part of the day while putting in overtime hours. He couldn’t grasp the process, and would constantly ask me questions then like a child say things about me that wasn’t true, next thing I know I’m fired. When I was thanked for my work is when the tampering of my work began. The doc control person and head of Operations ( both Hispanic) and senior purchasing clerk were very sneaky and unprofessional. Oh well, I have 30 years aerospace experience and a Manufacturing Engineering Planner for Boeing, could do circles around these individuals, they knew it and didn’t want the humiliation LOL. Not to mention the profanity coming out of the project office. My suggestion, move on! Nothing to gain here.

Fledgling semiconductor equipment company
|
SUSS is a German owned company that specializes in R&D and equipment for Universities. They got the largest order in company history with Taiwan Semiconductor for the IPhone 7 chip launch and they were severely behind. I was brought in by their CEO to right the ship and get the schedule back on track. Once that was accomplished I was asked to go to Taiwan and project manage the installation and test of the equipment and get it certified by the customer. The project turned into a 7 days a week, 16+ hour days to fix and manage all the problems. The local field team was never trained on the equipment and had to be trained on-site. I was asked by TSMC and SUSS management to stay indefinitely which I wasn't willing to do.
